Racha Dahbar Huhtamaki is a global packaging company that provides many of the worlds most recognisable consumer and food services packaging, as well as the retail lines of Chinet® & Lily® and environmental responsible BioWare® range. Whether drinking a latte on the go or snacking at your desk, today’s consumer expects the packaging to reflect the quality of the product inside. RGC Advertising was approached by Huhtamaki in 2008 to provide Huhtamaki Australia with creative services to promote their foam container range with DM marketing material. During the course of the next few years, RGC Advertising provided creative services for labels, cartons and retail pack artwork. In 2009, a brief was received to re-design a retail pack which contained 12 coffee cups and lids for the consumer market. The product was not as successful on the shelves as it could have been, so the brief was to design a more appealing pack for retail purposes. RGC Advertising designed a new carton wrap which allowed the contents of the products to be extremely visible, instead of being trapped in a sealed container. Additional modifications included the design of a folding mechanism which required less labor-time in the assembly of the wrap to the product. The product pack was for the brands premium range of disposable hot cups, so the packaging also had to be elegant and promote the brand in the best light. The product was designed and implemented on the shelves in Woolworths and Coles nationally. To date the line has been very successful and has since seen additional variations of the line using the same design & technology. Today RGC Advertising provide Huhtamaki Australia with much more than just creative services but also with digital services, including website design and development, e-marketing, social media marketing, advertising campaigns and strategic solutions.
